Preschool Time!!

So for most of June i spent my time down in South Africa riding a motorcycle, swiming away from alligators, and surviving a rocketship crash! Boy and you thought you had a tough month!!!hahaha...Really thougth i had a great time helping out with the preschool MK's while their parents where in meetings. I turly do think i left my mark on them....One day i was trying to teach them the shape of squares, circles, and so forth. So i wanted them to see what all they could do with the shapes, so i showed them how to make a rocket ship out from the shapes. Although when i pointed to the individual shapes and asked what they where, the boys replied "it's a rocketship." So i have successfully taught them the rocketship shape!!! For more teaching tips i'm always here for ya, so just ask!!!! hahahaha

This is one of my little men that kept me on my toes every day till nap time. I had a great time with him, he is such a sweet little guy!

Here is my other little rascal that gave me a run for my money, but with such a great personality who wouldn't fall in love with him?!

Silver Ring Thing!

While i was in South Africa i got a chance to meet the greatest bunch of people ever! They where older youth from about 18-22 years of age that has given up entire year to go around their country and promote Abstinence and a Godly life style. They are on the Silver Ring Thing team, if you all have heard about it in the states. Anyway it's a good deal, and they are very passionate about what they are doing! The stayed at the camp with us for most of our stay there, so it was nice for me and Cindy to have other people there to hang out with when we where done working with the kids.

This is my new friend Melissa, who is has got more engery then i've ever seen...she's awesome!!

As our good-bye we had a bon-fire, i think it was just about the biggest one i've ever been to!

I thought i would prove to you just how cold it can get here in JUNE!!!!

Cindy (j-girl from Zambia), Melissa, and me (L-R) at breakfast right before the Silver Ring Thing team left the camp.

TN Mission Team!!

Oh yeah baby, the volunteer spirit is a live and kicking!! Early on in July we had a mission team here from the good ol' state of Tennessee! The where from First Baptist Church in Nashville, TN and this was the Sr. mission trip for the recently graduated seniors. They did an awesome job, they went into some of the SR. schools here and gave a message of HOPE and Abstinece to tons of kids their age, and held lots of rally's. It was good to meet them, and a few even knew some of my friends from back home! It's a small world after all.....

Part of the team from First Baptist Church of Nashville, Tennessee. Hey it's hard to try and get 18 people together!

Orphan Daycare Center!!

While the team was here i was able to go out with them one day to an AIDS Orphan Daycare center. It was such a great experience, i'm trying to look into a way to get the UB (unveristy of Botswana) students involved out there, so please pray with me about that. The daycare is for kids that have been left orphans either by parents that have died from AIDS or that they are in a place where they are unable to recieve the kind of care they need due to the fact that someone is dealing with AIDS in their family. All of these kids are venurable to AIDS and some of them even have AIDS. This just shows that no one, no matter how old or young is left untouched by this pandemic that has reached every continent. Let us join together around the world to reach out to ALL of God's children, no age or race applies with God, with His love, mercey, and gift of Hope! What a wonderful God we serve that sent His Son to die for us that we and many more may be with Him one day in Heaven, when we recieve His gift of Hope and salvation.

Just a few of the cuties that were outside singing with the team.

This is going to be the next great artist!!!

This little beauty totally requires no words to get her point across. On the day i went to visit, i had my hair pulled back in a low curly poneytail/bun thing. So as i was holding this little girl in my arms she looked behind my head to see my hair, and when she relized that we had the same hair style she starting shaking my head with her hands then she did the same to her hair! How smart is that?! Who said that women always needed to talk?!! Fashion and style speak every language!

This is our take on the World Cup! Looks good to me!!!

The Cline's final good-bye!

Well as it would seem the day we all thought was so far way has finally arrived. The Cline's, my supervisor's while i was in the North of Bots, are really leaving. We all made jokes that they wouldn't go, but after 26+ years the are going to be flying outta here on the 3rd of Aug. So they made one last trip down South to say good-bye to all their friends and family. We had them a little party, of course with food, and hopefully sent them on their way with found memories to last a lifetime. Or at the very lest till i get back to the states and go visit them!! They will be missed!!

Me, Sally, and Paul taking our last good-bye picture together!! I'm really going to miss them.

Sally is hanging with some of the most happening chicks in Gabs for one more time.
